Dominican College is currently one of the newest Belfast Grammar Schools, in fact probably the newest.  The origins of our school stretch back to the year 1930.  Our tradition however has been handed on to us from St Dominic in the 12th century, St Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century and more recently through the vision and dedication of our predecessors in education.

We remember them with pride and gratitude.  It was their response to the needs of their times that created the tradition which continues to inspire us today.  The single word VERITAS (truth) epitomises the aim of all Dominican Colleges and Schools.  It is the pursuit of Truth in all its forms.
