GCSE Results 2018
Dominican College is today celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results with over 99% of this year’s cohort gaining 5 A* to C grades including English and Maths and 98% achieving 7 A* to C grades including English and Maths.
Headmistress Miss Mc Gahan commented:
‘I wish to warmly congratulate all of our pupils who opened up their GCSE results today. I am delighted with the performance of this very talented Year 12 group of pupils and their examination results across a very broad spectrum of subjects. These exceptional results, and those of all of our pupils, are the outcome of a real team effort. Once again these results show what hard work and dedication can achieve at GCSE level and it is wonderful to see them realise their potential and achieve their personal targets. The dedication of the Dominican College staff to each and every one of their students, the support of their parents and our Board of Governors have been instrumental in the many successes we are celebrating today. Our congratulations go to all our pupils who have embraced all the opportunities provided at Dominican College. These excellent results will open doors for them to progress to A Level studies, third level education and ultimately will enable them to fulfil their future career aspirations”.
