Year 9 Table Tennis Champions

Our names are Lucy McIvor and Anna Kelly and we are ranked number 1 and 2 in Ireland in under 13 girls. we play for Ormeau table tennis club on the Mount Road which is currently one of the best clubs in the Ireland and the club recently broke a world record. We play 5-6 tmes a week including Ulster sessions and Irish national squads once a month. We teavel all over Ireland to play tournaments and we recently represented Ulster in the junior interprovisionals in under 13 girls which we won. On Wednesday 18 April we represented the school at the Ulster secondary schools. We came first and second under 12 girls. During the summer we represented Ireland at the Euro Minis in Strasbourg, France. We have also been selected to represent Ireland at a grand prix in Prague, Czech Republic at the end of May. There are 8 boys and 8 girls that have been selected between the ages 12 and 18. We are looking forward to playing in this tournament and we hope to play our best.
