Year 12 pupils participated in the "5 Steps to Success" seminar delivered by Amazing Brains. The seminar teaches revision and exam techniques, planning and time management and how to cope with exam stress.
Congratulations to Beth Hanna, Tara Murphy, Shannon Whyte, Julita Zachariasz and Miss Hamill who took part in the Francofest event held at Queen’s University on Friday 8th February, winning “Most Creative Team”. The competition was organised and delivered by NICILT as part of an annual programme of activities to support language learning in schools.
To extend our study of global ecosystems in Year 9, the Geography Department registered the school with the Polar Explorer Exploration Educational team of research scientists. This exciting venture involved a geographical study of Antarctica, its unique ecosystem and extreme climate.
