"Breaking Through Barriers" NBALC Post-16 Symposium

Dominican College welcomed Year 13 pupils from the North Belfast Area Learning Community for the annual Post-16 symposium.

The event was hosted by Dr Robbie Meredith, BBC Arts and Education Correspondent, with guest speakers Stephen Clarke (CEO of WHSmith), Annemarie Adams (Children's Worker from Women's Aid) and Koulla Yiasouma (NI Commissioner for Children and Young People).

Two pupils from Belfast Royal Academy spoke to the group about their experience of A Level study and coping strategies.

Koulla Yiasouma engaged with pupils about their views on issues that matter to them.
